You can't help others until you prove that you can help yourself.
Why do things the hard way?
Most coaches give up on building their coaching practice in the first 3 years. Why?
I'll tell you why. Because becoming a coach is easy. You just take a course and print some new business cards, and change your online profile. That's it done. Anyone can say they are a coach.
Building a sustainable coaching practice is a different story. First you need prospects that you can convert to clients. The you need to get results consistently to build your reputation as a great coach. Average is not good enough.
To learn what is in this book takes years. Anyone with enough years and persistence can figure this out. You just need 1 or 2 decades and lots of courses under your belt.
I've started 8 businesses throughout my career and only half of these were successful. the others had to be shut down. What a waste of time and energy.
If someone had written a book, like this one, so i could skip some of the failures, where would I be today? Save yourself time and money. Don't make my mistakes. Instead, learn from them.

Get Started Right Away With Sound Advice from someone who's been there.
Nagui has lots of experience and he shares his practical knowledge while covering all aspects of running a successful coaching business. Just follow and practice all guidelines. A fantastic book for coaches that want to grow their clinic!
Very insightful on many things. It made me realize that while I love that coaching comes natural to me, I have no desire to build a coaching business. I guess that puts me in the "coach as a hobby" category. Nagui's knows what he's talking about.
The FEAST formula Defining the types of coaches and structuring your coaching business to work with your ideal clients Five Key Elements of Your Coaching Practice Hebbian Learning and Behavioural Response Coaching Building a Successful Coaching Practice is a FEAST of information for coaches that are looking to build a successful coaching business and create consistent results.
This is a great book for individuals who are considering the coaching profession and new coaches who are setting up their practice. It is an easy read that covers an important area of the coaching world...how to run your practice. I particularly enjoyed the "Stages of Growth" and what to expect in each of the six stages. Nagui Bilelek is an expert in the field of coaching with many years of experience and research. If you are considering coaching as a profession or have recently started a coaching practice, you would be wise in heeding Nagui's advice!.
Nagui did a great job delineating the different coaching approaches and provided valuable insight in how what I do affects clients and how I can be more effective when working with particular clients. Nagui also described an approach to leveraging systemic processes that drive results.
In effect, he gave the "under the hood" view of a coaching business. Finally, Nagui used formulae and factors that are going to make a difference when determining whether your coaching practice is really going to generate the funding that will determine your own level of success or lack thereof.
The book is only awareness-building. Beyond reading the book, you need to work with someone to get the practice doing the things that make the advice in the book valuable. If you're a coach, you know what I mean. This book is an instruction manual. However, until you start doing what is being instructed, you won't get what you want out of this book. I suggest you reach out to Nagui or others like him to move forward in your journey to be the coach you want to be.
Mindset - always important. Nagui speaks from experience Excellent value. For coaches finding the going tough in today's world, this is a gold mine!
1) A major goal of coaching is to help the customer develop new behavioral patterns or habits to achieve their goals. 2) Unconscious responses are way faster than conscious ones, so develop the right habits. 3) Remember to break to break your goals down into small chunks. It is a great reminder of things we know we should do.
